Terms of Use

General

The Taktia website, web application, and mobile applications (together, the «Service») are property of WALLMANS LTD (henceforth referred to as «the Company») — registration number HE414057, registered office Florinis 6, P.C. 2402, Egkomi, Nicosia, Cyprus. By using the Service, each visitor or user unreservedly agrees to comply with these Terms of Use, which apply to all content, images and files within the Service. If you do not consent, you should refrain from using the Service. The Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum form an integral part of these Terms.

Intellectual property

The Service and all of its content (including text, images, software and links) constitute intellectual property of WALLMANS LTD and are protected by Cypriot, European and international law. Display of this content is not a transfer of any licence other than the right to view it online and to use the Service as permitted here. Reproduction for commercial purposes requires prior written permission. The Service may include links to third-party websites; the Company is not responsible for their content. By using those services you agree to their terms.

Definitions

  1. Organization: a workspace created on Taktia, billed per active seat.
  2. Owner: the member who created the organization or to whom ownership was transferred. The owner is responsible for billing and for the organization’s data.
  3. Member: a person invited into an organization with a role of owner, admin, or member.
  4. Visitor: anyone who browses the public marketing site without an account.

Access and registration

Users must meet the following requirements:

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must provide true, accurate and complete information (name and email at minimum) and keep it up to date.
  • You must agree to these Terms of Use.

Upon registration the Company grants a personal, non-transferable licence to access the Service solely to run your organization’s work. Any breach may result in immediate revocation of that licence without prior notice. You are responsible for keeping login credentials confidential and for all activity on your account. Notify the Company at info@taktia.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

The Service

Taktia is a shared work board and lightweight client record for small service businesses. Customers hold projects, projects hold tasks, and the day board shows the team’s workload. Mobile apps support creating and updating day-to-day work (tasks, customers, projects, notes, comments, photos, time). Some features (including contacts, meetings, labels, billing, invites, and member administration) are available only on the web application. There is no native desktop application; computers use the web application.

You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter (customers, projects, tasks, files, comments, time logs). The Company does not review that content and is not liable for decisions you make from it.

Trial, subscriptions and payments

New organizations start a 14-day trial with no card required, capped at 10 active members. After the trial, continued use requires a paid subscription billed per active seat. Prices are published on taktia.app/pricing and charged in USD. Features are identical on monthly and annual intervals.

Payments are processed by Stripe as merchant of record (Managed Payments). The Company does not store card numbers. The Company shall not be liable for issues arising from the payment provider. The Company may change the provider with notice. Receipts are issued by Stripe / Link to the owner’s email.

Adding a member increases seat quantity with proration. Removing a member decreases quantity and issues a credit on the next invoice; there are no cash refunds for unused seats. You may cancel at period end or immediately from the billing settings. After cancellation, data remains available in read-only form for 60 days, then is flagged for deletion. You may export your data at any time, including while read-only.

The Company may change prices with advance notice. Existing subscriptions stay on their current price until you change plan or the Company migrates them. Continuing to use the Service after a published price change for new checkouts does not by itself change an existing subscription.

Refunds

Seat proration credits apply to the next invoice; they are not cash refunds. If you believe you were charged in error, contact info@taktia.app within 14 days of the charge. Chargebacks and disputes are handled by Stripe as merchant of record.

Cancellation and deletion

An owner may delete an organization from settings by typing its name. Deletion cancels the Stripe subscription immediately and soft-deletes the organization with a 30-day purge window. Members may leave an organization; that does not delete the organization’s data. Inactive accounts may be deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

The Service must be used solely for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not hinder other users. You must not attempt to access another organization’s data, probe the Service for vulnerabilities except under a coordinated disclosure to info@taktia.app, or use the Service to store or transmit unlawful content.

Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold the Company, its officers, directors, employees and suppliers harmless from claims arising from a breach of these Terms, a violation of law, or infringement of third-party rights in connection with use of the Service.

Limitation of liability

The Company makes every effort to keep the Service accurate and available, but does not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company disclaims liability for damages arising from use of the Service, including direct, indirect, consequential, special, punitive or incidental damages, even if advised of the possibility. Access is at your own risk.

Force majeure

The Company is not liable for failure to perform where that failure results from acts of nature, war, civil disturbance, or other causes beyond its reasonable control.

Mobile applications

The Company grants a personal, non-transferable, limited right to use the mobile applications. They may not contain every feature of the web application. Downloading and using them is at your sole risk. The Company is not liable for damage to your device or loss of data from installing or using those applications.

Amendments

The Company may amend these Terms at any time. The latest version will be published at taktia.app/legal/terms. Continued use after publication constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Cypriot law and applicable EU law. In the event of a dispute, the parties will first attempt mediation. If unresolved, the dispute will be referred to the courts of Nicosia, Cyprus, or to binding arbitration in accordance with Cypriot law. If any provision is found contrary to applicable law, that provision ceases to be effective without affecting the remainder.
